Looking for landscape & garden edging that's easy to install? Really easy?

An easy to use, innovative edging solution

Made in the US Midwest out of 16 gauge steel, 2xEDGE Staples work with common, easy to source "two-by" lumber, up to 2x6, transforming it into attractive wood landscape edging and garden borders.

✔ No digging - You won't need a shovel, pick, or hoe - or days of back breaking work! - to make trenches for your lumber.

✔ No drilling - You won't need screws or nails that create weak spots in wood, leaving it vulnerable to rot and decay.

✔ One tool install - All you'll need is a 16 ounce rubber mallet to install with 2xEDGE.

16 gauge steel. Made in the USA.

All of our staples are made in the US Midwest out of 16 gauge steel, an endlessly recyclable material. We offer coated and uncoated options - both are durable and long lasting.

    • Rustic Steel (uncoated)

The original 2xEDGE Staple is made with raw steel and will gain a rust patina, aging gracefully in your landscape. Add rustic character to your outdoor spaces with the staple that gets better over time.

    • Powder coated colors & tones

Our powder coated staples resist rust and are UV-rated. Eight colors and tones to choose from. Add a pop of color to your landscape and garden design.

      • ★★★★★ / "Super satisfied"

        Four Times the Grip

The shank of a standard landscape nail is 3/8" wide. 2xEDGE is 1-3/4” wide, offering four times the grip of a nail. Edging stays where it’s put.

      • The corner of a raised bed created with 2xEDGE Rustic Steel Staples to separate garden mulch bed from lawn

        Twice the Stability

2xEDGE Staples fasten lumber to the ground in two places, supplying twice the stability of a nail. Edging is less prone to tipping.

      • Person holding a 2x4 in the air with a 2xEDGE Staple hanging from it to illustrate how the staples wrap around lumber

        No Holes = No Rot

Drilling holes in lumber for screws or nails makes it vulnerable to rot and rapid degradation. 2xEDGE wraps around lumber, keeping it intact. Edging lasts longer.

      • Two-by lumber installed along a city sidewalk with 2xEDGE Staples to create raised mulch beds

        Modular Edging

2xEDGE fastens each piece of lumber to the ground independently to create modular edging that's easy to extend, modify, and maintain.

      • A person placing a 2xEDGE Staple on a 2x4 in preparation to install it with a rubber mallet

        More Utility

2xEDGE is designed to stand two-by lumber upright without burying it in a trench (that you have to dig). More edging material is available above ground (and edging stays drier which combats rot).

      • Plants growing over a landscape edging made with 2xEDGE Satin Black Staples

        Unique Wood Edging

Unlike landscape timbers, 4x4 posts, or railroad ties, two-by lumber has a substantial yet streamlined profile. Get 2xEDGE and effortlessly use this distinctive profile in your landscape.

      • ★★★★★ / "I LOVE this product"

"I've never used an edging, but this summer the floppy flowers and creeping weeds compelled me to search out a border I could use for my plant beds. I chose the satin black staples and paired them with cedar-stained wood. My garden has never looked better!" (Review verified by Judge.me)
