Front Yard & Pool Edging

Clean lines along a front walkway or entryway make an immediate impression. These projects use 2x4 pressure treated lumber stained a dark walnut to define beds and paths alongside a gravel driveway, front porches, front yard garden beds, and pool.

Sidewalk (Hellstrip) Garden Edging

The narrow strip between sidewalk and street is one of the most challenging spots to edge. These parking strip and hellstrip installations use 2x4 lumber to contain deep mulch and stand up to foot traffic.

Flower Bed Edging

2x4 and 2x6 lumber creates clean straight borders along fences, house foundations, and shed walls. These projects show how above-grade wood edging contains soil and mulch without digging a trench.

Patio Edging

Wood edging alongside brick or paver patios adds warmth and contains mulch without competing with the hardscape. This customer project uses 2x2 and 2x4 lumber alongside brick.

Angled Landscape Edging

A hexagon-shaped tree ring made with 2xEDGE Staples and pressure treated 2x4 lumber

Using 2x lumber for edging lets you customize your project to suit, including angled garden bed edging as a feature. Angled landscape edging beyond 90 degree corners is simple to create with a hand saw or power tools.

The tree ring (tree surround) here features a six-sided hexagon shape that's easy to achieve with straightforward 30-degree cuts.
