Meet the Authors: Lisa Brooks
Lisa Brooks is the creator of 2xEDGE Staples and the founder of 2xEDGE LLC. She's also an avid gardener and DIYer.
A native San Franciscan raised in the SF/Bay Area, since the mid-90s Lisa has called Chicago her home base.
Chicago is where she started to take an interest in gardening, creating gardens in containers and in the ground wherever she lived.
Lisa has created and owned a number of small businesses and worked in web design and database development. She also owns and maintains a 100+ year old apartment building where she lives, works, tackles a steady (endless) stream of home improvement projects, and gardens.
In addition to gardening, Lisa counts writing as one of her many passions. She regularly contributes to the 2xEDGE "Landscape Edging Ideas" blog and has been quoted in various gardening magazines:

Lisa received her Bachelors degree in sociology from the University of California at Berkeley and her Masters degree in library and information sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
